1. What information do we process about you and why?

  • Identification data:

    We collect key identification data (name and surname) as well as the address information provided in the next section to accurately facilitate the shipment process and to enable complete communication throughout the logistics chain.

  • Address:

    Your address information (building name or number, street name, city, postcode and country) is required to ensure goods are properly picked up and delivered.

  • Contact information:

    We use your contact information (phone number and email) to inform you about orders as well as their shipping status. We also need to know your contact phone and email so we can contact you in case of any complications or changes.

    If you do not provide us with your personal identification data, address, and contact information for loading and unloading of goods, we will not be able to process your requests so you will not be able to order any shipments.

  • Username and password (registration details):

    If you register with us, our system keeps the information you need to sign in to your account, that is to say, your username and your password. Without this information, we are not able to sign you in.

  • Information about ordered shipments (order information):

    Once you order a shipment from us, we will keep you informed about the status of your order as well as the transportation process so that we can provide you with the best shipment while at the same time help with any claim. The carrier will be provided with detailed information about the carriage if you choose the carrier to undertake the shipment. Basic shipping information, such as the state and city of loading and unloading as well as details of cargo is given to registered carriers. At the same time, we use this information to improve the services we provide based upon the most popular routes and other information.

How do we further use your personal information?

To whom do we pass your personal data?

  • Information about the pages browsed is processed for us by Google, Inc., using the Google Analytics tool, which allows cookies (see above) to measure and evaluate the way our website is used.
  • We also pass this information to Functional Software, Inc. and Intercom, Inc. to better evaluate page browsing and detect any errors in the application.

Certain data about you are processed by our data processors (such as marketing consultants, accountants, etc.), but we do not pass your personal data anywhere else and we do not sell databases. This means you do not have to worry about anything, your information is safe with us.
 

How long do we keep your personal information?

  • Information about your shipments, employees, and your identification, address, and contact information is kept for a maximum of two (2) years from your last login or your company employee’s login. We keep the information for such time in order to properly display your statistics, facilitate your searches and to properly handle any enquiries as well as respond to any complaints or suggestions.
  • In addition, the retention of certain documents containing personal data is subject to the law. For example, we need to keep invoices for 10 years. We keep accounting documents for 5 years.

 

What are your rights in relation to your personal data?

  • The right to request access to your personal data

    this means that you can ask us what personal information we record about you and also what happens to it during the time we retain it.

  • The right to correct data

    If your personal information is not up to date or is incorrect, you can request that we correct it.

  • The right to object

    If you believe that we process personal data beyond our legitimate interests or our legal obligations, you may object to such processing and we will respond to this.

  • The right to erase data (the right “to be forgotten”)

    that is, that at your request we have to erase all personal data we record about you, for example, if you do not wish to be registered with us. However, there may be another reason that entitles us, or requires us, to keep the data (for example, an obligation under the Accounts Act, etc.), meaning in such cases we cannot make the deletion.

  • The right to restrict data processing

    in some cases we may keep personal information, but we must not handle it; this may occur in the following situations:

    • if you deny the accuracy of the data and we need to verify your message;
    • if personal data are handled without authorization, but you do not want us to delete it and request a restriction of processing instead of deletion;
    • if we no longer need personal information, but you request it is retained for your legal rights;
    • if you raise an objection to processing and for such a period of time until we check whether personal data will be processed further in our vital interests or not.
  • The right to transmit your data

    If you ask us to do so, we will provide you with your personal data processed on the basis of the agreements we have concluded with you or through our consent, which is processed automatically. We will provide such information in a commonly used, machine-readable format. Alternatively, we may pass this information to an administrator who you specify if you agree with the handover.
